Makeup is a visual language with the ability to convey emotion, memory, and the depth and magnitude of inner life. My work is about bringing it all into view.

 

I create makeup for television, film, and commercial projects, working with production teams on a range of editorial, digital, and marketing content. For over 15 years, I've focused on skin-centered, long-wearing looks that translate beautifully on film and in photos.

 

Based in the Bay Area, I've been a makeup artist professionally since 2010 across commercial production, fashion, and beauty. My work has taken me coast to coast in diverse environments, always with a collaborative approach and attention to detail. I am experienced with on-set workflows, natural and studio lighting, and maintaining continuity, as well as a broader creative perspective shaped by art direction, styling, and production support.

My experience includes work on television productions for CNN, Travel Channel and Food Network, including multiple projects with chef and TV personality Andrew Zimmern. I’ve also worked alongside veteran fine-art and celebrity photographer Brian Bowen Smith. Brand work includes indie favorites such as Apatico and Elektra Cosmetics. I'm available for production bookings and take on a limited number of private clients.

 

When I’m not working, you can find me hunting down historic restaurants, admiring architecture, or reading the memoirs of rock stars. In both my life and work I am endlessly attracted to design, history, storytelling, culture, human connection, and recognizing the details that make something or someone unique.
