Hi, I’m Angela Morris.

I’m a makeup artist, beauty historian, and feminist, deeply passionate about beauty, its history, and what both reveal about women, culture, and power.

​

My work focuses on high-achieving creative professionals, bridal parties, and women empowering themselves through boudoir photography. I help them express their authentic selves as well as their fantasies. While some may view makeup, photography, and film as mere smoke and mirrors, I believe transforming our daydreams into tangible experiences is a vital part of what we call reality.

I advocate for being truthful, visible, and powerful in both life and work. I mastered the craft of makeup artistry to help you create a visual language that is fun, creative, expressive, and, most importantly, true to you.

In my 12 years as a makeup artist, I’ve worked with people of all genders and backgrounds. In this role, I’ve listened as amazing, successful, intelligent, and beautiful individuals asked me to help them hide who they are or to change them in order to “fix” or “pretty” them up.

​

I felt a deep anger—not toward them, but at how we’ve all been conditioned to believe something is wrong with us.

​

I’m here to tell you that nothing is wrong with you. In fact, the truest, most authentic version of yourself is what is right, and it holds the power to bring you what you truly desire—not the false promises we’ve all been sold.

It’s become my mission to challenge these narratives and encourage others to redefine their stories—on their own terms.
